The observation

For the past ten years or so, cutting-edge activity around quantum technologies has started to emerge in France.
However, today this new market is still widely seen as a matter of basic research.

How to conduct mediation actions around these questions, in a field known to be very abstract and beyond the reach of the common thought of citizens?

This dedicated site attempts to answer this question with a wide range of popularization tools.

Our approach

A section is devoted to quantum algorithms through unprecedented interactive representations, including manipulation in augmented reality.
Sections complete the algorithms with:

A section on paradoxes, which offers various experiences, the generation of sounds, aso.
An interactive historical frieze.
A series of interviews with personalities having a critical approach on the theme.

Project QuBOBS

QuBOBS is a popularization project imagined by Sophie Laplante, head of the "Algorithm and complexity" structure at IRIF .
The goal is to make interactive educational and fun objects to explain the basic principles of the quantum computer.
